Cookie Policy

Most cookie policies are long because most sites are stuffed with trackers. This one's short because this site isn't.

What's stored in your browser

Just one thing: whether you pressed Accept or Reject on the cookie banner, so it doesn't pop up again on every page. It's kept in your browser's local storage (not a cookie as such), it doesn't identify you and it never leaves your device.

There's no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no embedded YouTube videos or social widgets quietly reporting back. Even the fonts are served from this site rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page here doesn't tell Google anything.

Logging in to the admin area

When I log in to update the site, WordPress sets its usual login cookies so I stay signed in. Visitors never get these - they're only created on the login page.

If that changes

Should I ever add analytics or anything else that needs consent, the banner will ask you first and nothing will load until you say yes. This page will be updated at the same time.
